Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2002 Rendola was awarded Bronze medal in the challenge which promotes the culture of wine in the Asian market.

Our Brunello 2003 and Morellino di Scansano 2006 received a special mention too, and were awarded Merit medal.

Rendola Brunello di Montalcino 2003 obtains a rating of 89 points on Wine Spectator Online.

The prestigious American wine magazine tasted our Brunello and defined it:

"A little jammy on the nose, with strawberry and sultana. Full-bodied, with a dense palate, chewy tannins and a long finish. A full-throttle Brunello, but very good for the vintage. A new producer. Best after 2010"

In the December 2007 issue, the highest score was assigned to
Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG Vintage 1997

In fact, the famous German magazine awarded our Brunello the score reserved to the Ausserwöhnlich Wein (Extraordinary Wine). This means that, according to them, the wine “gehört zu den grossen Weinen der Welt” , or better it belongs to the finest wines of the world.

The opinion given was:

''Unglaublich eleganter Wein, der gerade seine besten Seiten zeigt. Verführerische Frucht, feines Tannin, zarter Lederduft, gut ausbalanciert“

(Translation: An unbelievably elegant wine, which immediately shows the best of its flavour. Temptingly fruity in the mouth; well-orchestrated, with fine tannic and delicate leathery tastes)

This accolade adds to the Platinum Gold and Silver Medals that Rendola wines have already collected.
